Ban on shrooms not lifted

Last week Lea Bouwmeester, MP of the Dutch Labour Party (PvdA) said she would like to see a reversal of the ban on magic mushrooms, which went into effect in December 2008. She claims the ban is ineffective and does not tackle the actual problems, like polydrug use of tourists. Recently, other Dutch political parties Groenlinks (GreenLeft) and D66 (Democrats 66) announced they are also against the ban and in favor of regulating its sales. 

October 14th the Dutch government had a meeting reappraising the ban, but unfortunately it was decided that the ban will not be reversed. During the debate questions were asked about mushroom grow kits and the Philosopher's stones (also known as truffles or sclerotia), and in answer to these questions it was said that because in the past year there have been very few incidents involving these products, they will not be banned.

In the past two months there have been many positive changes in our company.
